Shameless plugging of my(zig007) website, it may seem, but it was for the GI/GL calculator on this site JSDC was built, originally.
Anyway, the site uses JSDC in many, many ways(treeviews, selectviews, tableviews, input validation and animations), so it should be a really great resource.

JSDC sports a class called animation (in effects.js) which in this example is used for these important(if not business critical!) tasks.
NOTE: This project is not actively maintained, however, parts of this project has moved to the Business Process Management System Optimal BPM. Check out that later on.
